A MUST READ FOR ALL UNIVERSITY FRESHERS

First of all, let me congratulate y'all reading this, University Freshers to be precise. Finally, you've gained admission and now you're here at last. But before it will be late, I'll like to have your attention for some minutes.

Welcome Aboard, Welcome on Campus, Welcome to league, Welcome to Struggle. You don't need to be panic because you're here for the best and the best will be yours.
But before I'll continue, I'll like to borrow some few lines in Joohel Articles 2005 about some facts all University fresher's should know, He wrote " We all stroll into the campus with excitement written all over our faces, mentality aligned towards the first-class palava and we all feeling like we just got a grammy award. But the sad news is, the number of students being celebrated for admission will be far more higher compared to that of graduation."

Oh yea, JOOHEL was right because at the course of the programmes , many setbacks will be falling on your way and if you're not careful enough, you'll just found yourself in the categories.

Oops, so sorry for taking much of your time. Now down to business.

Congratulations to all newly admitted student.
I know you are all glad about it, though it might not be your desired school or your desired course but give glory to God because some people have no opportunity to get what you have. Many Student waited for year or years but still declined admission and also many wait and waited before gaining that admission, so do not misuse the opportunity you have. Always remember as LordHero favorite qoute, it's not by power, it's all Grace.

I'll quickly list out some tips to make your programme a successful one at the end.

1. Ensure you complete all registration, visit the higher level student,Your head of department (HOD) to know what you ought to do in time as to not fall into some categories of student at the end.

2. You must be careful of who you make friends/go out with

3. Look before you leap- never take anyone as your best friend at your first year in school because you never know who they can turn out to be.

4. Don't be too forward at anything or anybody

5. Don't use the Independence you just got to misbehave

6. Don't act like you know it all especially to your lecturer

7. Frowning of face can get bad guys attracted to you, they take you for a brave person (I believe you know what I mean.)

8. Have it in mind to build your CGPA at your first year in school (it's important)

9. Don't get too famous/popular on campus for unreasonable thing(it set all eyes on you)

10. Give your lecturer maximum respect they deserve.

To round it up, be advised that Tertiary Institution isn't a playing ground they say but still its not a damn prison yard. Connect With People: The truth is , the Tertiary Institution is like a bag filled with random objects. You should be expecting different kinds of fellow from all walks of life. But networking with the right kind of people can go a long way in helping you achieve that goal. Ask questions: Do not form big boy/big girls/marlian student, you are not! There are no silly questions in Tertiary institution. This is very, very true. If you are confused about something, or failed to get the point of a slide, or discussion, you must ask for clarification. Although it can be intimidating to ask a question in a large lecture hall, it's important to try. If you are confused, it's highly likely that other students are also confused. You are helping yourself, and your peers, when you put your hand up. Always have it in mind that your primary assignment is your Education and it should come first before anything.

I'll submit here for now.
